Being a Linguist

At St Barnabas, our children learn how to speak the French language. Learning another language, fosters pupils’ curiosity and deepens their understanding of the world. Through effective teaching, our linguists are able to express their ideas and thoughts in another language and understand and respond to its speakers, both in speech and in writing.

They also learn how to communicate for practical purposes, learn new ways of thinking and read great literature in the original language.
