At St Barnabas we have a school uniform and we like all children to wear our St Barnabas school uniform every day.  This consists of a St Barnabas royal blue sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece with the school logo on, white polo shirts and grey or black trousers or skirt.  It is important that pupils wear comfortable clothing to school, which allows them to move easily around the school and play safely in the playground. Shoes should have non-slip soles with no heels.

The school sweatshirts, cardigans, fleeces, polo shirts, book bags and PE kits can be purchased from our school office.  Please note:  polo shirts, grey or black trousers and skirts can be purchased cheaply from local shops/supermarkets.
If you need support with school uniform, please see the school office.  We are able to provide uniform for families who are suffering hardship.

For health and safety reasons we ask that children do not wear jewellery to school.

Please take account of the weather each day as your child spends over an hour in the playground during their lunchtime.  In winter, we ask that children wear a coat, with a hood in case of rain. In summer we encourage hats and a coating of sun cream before school, and discourage bare shoulders and backs.

Sports Clothing –  all children should have a change of clothing for PE lessons – this should be brought into school on a regular basis.  Children will have an opportunity to get changed for PE.  Please see your child’s timetable for information about when they have a PE lesson.

It is very important to name your entire child’s belongings, especially cardigans, sweatshirts and coats as we always have a very large selection of lost property.
